Interlocking tread block technology

The tread pattern uses interlocking block technology to deliver precise handling, manoeuvrability and effective braking. Under heavy loads, the blocks interact to form additional support and limit tyre deformation, ensuring reliable transfer of forces to the road.
Deep longitudinal grooves with an open shoulder area

The optimised geometry of the deep longitudinal grooves and the smooth, streamlined shape of the open shoulder area rapidly channel water away from the tyre’s contact patch, preventing it from becoming trapped between the tread and the road surface.
Wear-resistant rubber compound and outer shoulder area

A blend of rubbers and highly active fillers gives the compound strength, wear resistance and a long service life. The semi-closed outer shoulder area reduces tread block deformation and rolling resistance, helping improve fuel efficiency.
Tread pattern with a unique longitudinal groove design

Noise levels are significantly reduced by combining sound-dampening notches in the longitudinal grooves with the semi-closed outer shoulder design. The ribbed groove structure disperses airflow, while reduced shoulder-block movement limits turbulence, keeping noise low even at high speeds.
Integrated tread wear indicator

This key safety feature helps drivers assess the remaining tread depth and wear uniformity. The 4, 6 and 8 mm markings disappear progressively as the tread wears. The water-drop symbol is the aquaplaning indicator. Once it has worn away, using the tyres on wet roads is unsafe.
